Directions
Froyle is located just off the A31 midway between Farnham and Alton. Set your satnav to GU34 4LG. Travelling from Alton: turn off the A31 at the Hen and Chicken Service Station. Follow the road through Upper Froyle. Continue to Lower Froyle. Parking is on your right on the recreation ground next to the Village Hall.
Travelling from Farnham: leave the A31 following the signs for Bentley. At the T junction turn right towards Bentley Village. At Bentley crossroads turn left. Continue for a mile and a half to Lower Froyle. Pass the Anchor Inn on your left. Turn second left towards Upper Froyle. After 100 yards parking is on your left on the recreation ground next to the Village Hall.
Travelling from Basingstoke or Odiham: after entering Lower Froyle take the first turning on your right towards Upper Froyle. After 100 yards parking is on your left on the recreation ground next to the Village Hall.
There will be plenty of NGS signs. Please park considerately and as directed. The car parks will be locked at 6.30pm!
Tickets
Tickets cost £10 and are available on the day at the Village Hall and most gardens. Children under 12 are free. The tickets are not transferable, but you can use them again on the Sunday if you don’t manage to see all the gardens.
Tickets can also be purchased in advance from the National Garden Scheme website.
Card payments are available at the Village Hall and Old Court garden. Connections can be slow so bring cash if you can, to avoid queuing.

On arrival you will be given a map to guide you round the gardens so you don’t get lost.

We have numbered the gardens to make life easier. 1 to 7 are in Lower Froyle and 8 to 10 are in Upper Froyle. The number will be prominently displayed outside the relevant property, so you know where you are. Gardens are open from 1.30-6.00pm.
Parking
Main parking is on the Recreation Ground in Lower Froyle from which you can walk to gardens 1 to 2 (10 minutes) and gardens 3 to 7 (5 -6 minutes). Car parks will open at 1pm. The car parks will be locked at 6.30pm!
Additional parking in Upper Froyle is in the field opposite the Church. For garden 8 head downhill. For garden 9 head uphill. The car park will be locked at 6.30pm!
Parking for garden 10 is on the service road beyond the Hen and Chicken pub. Please park considerately.Be very careful walking on the lanes which are narrow and sometimes busy.
Please do not walk between Upper and Lower Froyle; it’s further than it looks!
Refreshments
Teas with Froyle’s famously sumptuous home-made cakes are available in the Village Hall from 2.30 to 5.30pm. Payment by donation. You are also welcome to picnic on the recreation ground in Lower Froyle

Dog Policy
Well behaved dogs on short leads only. Meadow areas once trampled do not recover! Please pick up. There are dog poo bins on the recreation ground.
